We have had a wonderful first week in Unicorn Class. The children have settled wonderfully into ‘big school’ and doing full days. We have been very busy; building relationships, learning routines and boundaries, and exploring our environment together.
We made the most of the sunshine and spent lots of time outside, including snack time under our new canopy. The children loved working together to make sure we left it nice and tidy.
Then we went on an ‘adventure’… a tour of the school! We practiced walking in a snake – ‘Don’t break the snake!’, through the hall, all the way to Mrs Baxter’s office and down the Key Stage 2 corridor to see the big children learning before walking across the field back to our classroom.
We cannot wait to spend the year together, learning and having fun in our magical Unicorn Class!
